Ally Condie

 

Ally Condie is the author of Matched and its sequel, Crossed. She is also a former high school English teacher who lives with her husband and three sons outside of Salt Lake City, UT. She loves reading, running, eating, and listening to her husband play guitar.

Gayle Forman

 

Gayle Forman is the author of If I Stay, Where She Went, and Sisters in Sanity. As a journalist, her articles have appeared in numerous publications, including Jane, Seventeen, Glamour, Elle, and The New York Times Magazine. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her family.

Varian Johnson

 

Varian Johnson is the author of Saving Maddie, My Life as a Rhombus, and A Red Polka Dot in a World Full of Plaid. He is also the co-founder of The Brown Bookshelf, an online community showcasing African-American authors of children's and young adult literature. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife.

Robert Lipsyte

 

Robert Lipsyte is the author of Center Field, One Fat Summer, and The Contender, among others. A lifelong sports journalist, his work has appeared in numerous publications, including the New York Times, New York Post, and USA Today. An Accidental Sportwriter: A Memoir is his latest book.

Lauren Oliver

 

Lauren Oliver is the author of Before I Fall and Delirium. She divides her time between Brooklyn and anywhere her friends will let her crash on their sofas. She enjoys reading, writing, cooking, running, dancing, and yes, long walks on the beach (or, more practically, along New York City streets).

Christopher Paolini

 

Christopher Paolini is the author of Eragon and its three sequels. He wrote the first draft of Eragon when he was 15, and self-published its first edition. Books in the series have now sold over 25 million copies worldwide.

Mitali Perkins

 

Mitali Perkins is the author of Bamboo People, Secret Keeper, and Monsoon Summer, among others. She has taught middle school, high school, and college students, and has spent time in India, Bangladesh, Thailand, and California. She currently lives in Newton, MA with her husband and twin sons.

Beth Revis

 

Beth Revis is the author of Across the Universe. She lives in rural North Carolina with her husband and her dog, one of which is her best friend, and the other is her second-best friend. She spends too much time reading and writing, and nowhere near enough time cleaning the house.

Caissie St. Onge

Caissie St. Onge is the author of Jane Jones: Worst. Vampire. Ever. As a comedy writer, she's worked for The Late Show with David Letterman, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, Joan Rivers, and many awards shows. When she's not writing, she can't get enough of hanging out with her husband and two sons in their little red house in Connecticut.
