Each year, the kind folks at Renaissance Learning provide 100 NEOs to the Young Writers Program. The NEOs are small word-processing computers, with enough memory to store a 50,000 word novel. They weigh less than two pounds, can run for 700 hours on just three AA batteries, and are rugged enough for any classroom.
During NaNoWriMo, we loan four class sets of 25 NEOs to deserving schools around the United States. The computers are shipped and returned free of cost.

All requests must be received by October 5, 2012. NEOs will be mailed out to you by October 12.
