Publishing Your Novel

Posted by: Chris Angotti on 11/08/2011

Is it true that I'll get a free copy of my novel if I finish it during NaNoWriMo?

Yep, it's a fact! Pretty sweet, right? We've offered this incentive in the past, and 2011 will be no exception. This year, you have a couple of options for seeing your (or your students') novels in print.

If you are a NaNoWriMo winner, you can receive five free paperback copies of your finished novel from CreateSpace. You'll receive an official winner password on December 9, which will allow you access to the redemption code for the offer. See the FAQ page for details and restrictions, and look for more information later this month.

If you are a United States educator, you can also coordinate the publication of your group's novels with StudentPublishing.com. They offer each student in all registered classes a free 12-, 16-, 24-, or 32-page paperback of their very own story. See the details on the Publish Your Students page.

If you have any more specific questions about these offers, please contact our sponsors directly:

And now... Keep writing! After all, you've got a snazzy paperback copy of your novel waiting for you.
