It's almost time, once again, to launch this site into the creative stratosphere that is NaNoWriMo. On the week of October 1, look for our new pep talkers, fresh page designs, and a few much-requested features.
Here are a few things you can do to be ready.
Be sure you've saved any important text (novel info, excerpts, and forum posts) on your own computer. We give you a fresh start each year, but we don't want you to lose anything vital. Comb your profile and copy-and-paste what you need.
Educators, please wait on starting new (and editing old) Virtual Classrooms until after launch. Our migration from the current site to the new site can be tricky, and some changes may not make it into the database.
Check out all of our 2012 merchandise! Customize your notebook with NaNoWriMo stickers, have a YWP pencil at the ready, or sport a "NaNoWriMo Brain" T-shirt. We're proud to have you support us!
Thanks for writing novels with us this year. We can't wait to get NaNo 2012 started with all of you!
