Noveling Sweeps the NaNo-Nation
Over 500 million words written so far around the world!

At this rate, it looks like we'll write well over one billion words collectively by the end of the month. I can hardly wrap my brain around 500 million words, let alone a billion. Can you imagine if we put one billion words together into one big book? How long would it take to read a book that long? How many pages would that be? My calculations put the book at approximately 35,000 pages.

(Oh, how the mind wonders when procrastinating!)

35,000 pages is what happens when over 120,000 people get together to write novels together in 30 days.

Wow.

Knowing that I'm not alone in bashing out my often-times horrible, and sometimes not-so-bad novel with people all around the world helps me keep on keeping on.

I hope it helps you too!
