Yes it is!
You'll be able to get your novel in print and on the market in just a few short weeks after NaNo because CreateSpace, a member of the Amazon group of companies, is generously offering every NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program 2009 winner a free proof copy of their 2009 manuscript. What this means: A free proof copy of your NaNo-Novel in paperback book form. They'll even cover the costs of basic shipping to you.
To redeem the offer, you will need a special NaNoWriMo winner's promo code. If you have account on the YWP website, you will receive your promo code when you reach your word-count goal and become an official NaNoWriMo 2009 winner (meaning you've validated your novel on our website). Once you do, and are signed into the NaNoWriMo YWP site, you will see your unique promo code displayed on the "I Wrote a Novel, Now What?" page. (This page will appear on November 25, under the "Fun Stuff" tab.)
If you are 12 years old or younger, a parent or legal guardian must create a free member account at www.CreateSpace.com, as well as design and order the free proof copy for you.
If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, your parent or guardian must create a free member account at www.CreateSpace.com. All member information on CreateSpace must be that of your parent or guardian. Once a free member account is created, the parent or guardian can help you use the CreateSpace platform to design and order your free proof copy.
We'll be posting even more information about the CreateSpace offer and how to use all their awesome book-design software in November.
If you are an educator, sign up and/or log in and visit the Teacher's Lounge--->Special Offers to find out more about getting promo codes for your winning novelists.
