Writing a novel is hard work! Think of everything you had to do these past few months. Come up with an idea, invent characters, plan your plot. Learn how to write beginnings, dialogue, and action scenes. Plus, maybe hardest of all, you had to keep writing throughout November, even when you felt stuck, even when you wanted to quit. 

Take a moment to be truly proud of yourself. You accomplished something that most people only ever dream of.

Your NaNoWriMo novel will be stored on the site until the end of time, available to set new goals for, write, edit, revise, and download. Just be sure to log in every so often, since we delete accounts that have been totally inactive for more than four years.

Or, if you want to start a new adventure, accept a personal challenge invitation from your Dashboard any time of year except November. Set your own timeline and word-count goal, and keep the creative momentum going.
